Residents urged to be very careful as Hyena escapes from wildlife park in Plateu Jos.

 

The Plateau State Tourism Corporation PSTC management, has announced the disappearance of a hyena which escaped it's cage at the Nos wildlife park.

This was contained in a statement issued by corporation on Monday July 8, 2024 after the animal was discovered missing.

The Jos wildlife park is known as a place in Nigeria were nature has been conserved and also it is one of Plateau's topmost tourist attractions.

The parks management made this announcement as a cautionary measure to safeguard the public and also help in apprehending the animal.

 "The hyena is currently being tracked by our dedicated team of park rangers and Game guards with the assistance of drone technology; The statement read.

 " we assure the public that we're taking all the necessary measures to ensure we locate the escaped animal and it's safe return to its enclosure soonest.
