Singer and actress Onyeka Onwenu to be buried today.

Popular actress and Singer Mrs Onyeka Onwenu is to buried today being 30th of August 2024. In Lagos State.

The Music and Movie Icon, Popularly called Elegant stallion, passed on, on the 30th of July 2024, at Reddington Hospital, Ikeja Lagos State, after collapsing while she was performing at the birthday party of Dr Okoli Stella, the Managing director of Emzor pharmaceutical companies.

She was 72years old at the time of her demise.

Her funeral service as announced by the family will be held at Fountain of life Church, Illupeju, followed by a private burial at vault in Ikoyi.

A flyer of her funeral stated that the service of songs is scheduled from 10-12 noon, while burial commence from 2-4pm

Onyeka Onwenu revealed how she would be preferred to be buried, in an opinion piece in the year 2021.

At that time she said, "Do it quickly, quietly and privately".

She is survived by her two sons.
