President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently presiding over the National Council of state meeting at Aso Rock's presidential villa.
This marks President Tinubu's first council meeting since his assumption in office as president of the country.
The meeting attendees involved notable personnels, like the former presidents Muhammadu Buhari, and Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who arrived the meeting in person. Olusegun Obasanjo who was president from 1999 to 2007 was absent, as of press time.
Subsequently, former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, and Abdulsalami Abubaka joined the meeting virtually.
The minister's who were invited included the Honourable minister for Agriculture and food security, who will talk on food security, the coordinating minister of Economy, who will talk on the state of the Economy, the Honourable minister for works who will give update on road constructions, and also the minister of solid minerals.
Nuhu Ribadu, the National security adviser, will lead the presentations, followed by other cabinet members, including the Head of the civil service of the federation, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the NSA, and the special Adviser to President on information and strategy.
The meeting also involved other notable personnel's like the President, the Vice president, the chief justice, the senate President, the speaker of house of reps, state governor's across the Nation, and also the Attorney general of the federation and minister of Justice.
