Nuhu Ribadu, El-Rufai amongst others visits former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to seek daughters hand in Marriage.

 

The former Vice president received some distinguish delegation at his Asokoro residence yesterday.

 Reports has it that the delegation which was headed by Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna state, included family members of Kashim Imam, who came to personally seek the hand of Hafsat Atiku Abubakar, daughter of the former vice president in marriage.

The information was conveyed in a statement issued by Shehu Abdulrasheed, Atiku's aide on Wednesday.

The event was attended by notable figured like, former Governors Tambuwa Aminu Waziri of Sokoto state,and also Sule Lamido of jigawa state, Nigeria's National security adviser Nuhu Ribadu amongst others.

"His Excellency Atiku Abubakar welcomed the family of Kashim Imam. Led by Nasir El-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna State to his residence in asokoro".

"The delegation formerly came to seek the hands of Hafsat Atiku Abubaka in marriage".

"The gathering was a testament to the esteem in which his excellency the former vice president Atiku Abubakar is held, and the significance of the occasion".

"Prominent personalities that attended the event includes Nuhu Ribadu Nigerias National Security adviser, the former Governors of jigawa and Sokoto, Sule Lamido, and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal respectively".
