Kaduna Man drags sister in-law and niece to court for intimidating his wife.

 

One Usman Shehu on Monday 30th September, 2024 dragged his niece and his sister in-law Jamila Kasim and Hauwa'u Muhammad

respectively to a shari'a court sitting at Magajin gari, Kaduna state over alleged intimidation of his wife.

The defendants are being charged with intimidation, intent insults and trespass.

Mr Usman, a resident of Unguwan Shanu area of Kaduna State, said that the two entered his wife's room, insulted her, and threatened to beat her up.

He requested the court to grant him justice. While the defendants who were married women pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Anas Khalifa, who is the judge, granted the defendants bail on only one condition, that they present community leaders who will sign as surety.

The judge ordered the complainant to provide witnesses on October 16 for the prosecution of the defendants.
