(North central), Essien Abiola, has caused a stir online after she shared pictures of ongoing toilet project that she embarked on in a community in Plateau state.

Posting the pictures online, Essien stated that the toilet project will help in solving the difficulties young girls encounter while experiencing their monthly flow.

Describing the project as "Renewed hope", she wore;

" The first toilet in Nagohom community, Mazah ward, Plateau state is almost completed. If is being built within the school compound.

When it is completed, our girls will have a place to change their sanitary pads.

Our girls will not miss class again when they are experiencing their menstrual cycle.

I have contributed to ending open defecation in the country.

I have contributed to Nagohom community development."
