Chicago State University says diploma submitted to INEC by Tinubu is valid

 

The Chicago State University (CSU) in an Affidavit has confirmed that

the diploma submitted to Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is valid.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar the presidential candidate of the people's democratic party (PDP) had requested for the documents to back his allegations of forgery against president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

As per the affidavit obtained by the nation, the Chicago State University confirmed that the 1979 diploma presented to the president is authentic.

In the affidavit presented to the court in Chicago, CSU said; "The Chicago State University presented a diploma to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and subsequently provided a copy of that diploma, both are authentic and valid diploma of the Chicago State University".

They are some differences between the diploma and the certified copy because every diploma is signed by the current  president/ board chairman. They are also differences between the font and seal because CSU changed its font and seal after the diploma was issued.

Due to Human error, they're differences between the date of the award of the diploma and the certified copy. Date of graduation in the certified copy is typed manually by a person and can be inaccurate.
