President Tinubu son, Seyi Tinubu travels to Kano with a presidential jet to watch polo tournament

 

Some Nigerian citizens has condemned the fact that the presidents son

Seyi Tinubu went out with a presidential jet to go on a private trip to Kano to watch polo tournament.

The polo game is a ball game played at the horseback, a traditional field sport, it's one of the oldest games in the world a game for the rich and the rulling class in the country.

Sahara reporters revealed that the president's son went to the trip alongside his friends, and were received by the state government officials at the point of their arrival in the ancient city in Kano state.

This is occurring at a time that the price of jet fuel is at all time high.

Sahara reporters reportedly revealed that Seyi Tinubu was likely attending the finals of the 2023 NPA Kano international polo Tournament which was scheduled at the Usman dantata polo ground in Kano, on Sunday 8th October.

The Dangote cup final between Golden ranch and Agad/ Rumbu which was started by 3:30pm on Sunday while the Mohammadu Sanusi cup between the winners and the rest of the team was scheduled for 4:30pm.

A popular journalist from Kano and founder of daily Nigerian known as Jafar Jafar took to his official X handle (formerly known as Twitter) to post;

  " This is the golden child of president Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu on a trip to Kano to watch a polo tournament, but this trend didn't start today".

  "Buhari set the example by allowing his daughter Hanan travel to Bauchi on a photo tour with the presidential jet". Even if our laws is vague on this, one thing is clear. This is an offense to the moral code of leadership.
